Feature Overview: Scheduled Retail

 

Scheduled Retail helps you:

  • Apply price changes consistently across many items.

  • Plan price updates in advance.

  • Print accurate labels that align with upcoming price changes.

 

  • Item Management > Scheduled Retail

  • Item Management > Scheduled Label Queue

 

Use Scheduled Retail whenever you need to:

  • Apply future retail price changes.

  • Print labels for items with upcoming price updates.

 

  1. Retail 
 
  1. Price changes must be set up at least one day before the effective date.
    1. Prices are applied in Yellow Dog at 12:01 a.m. on the scheduled start date.
    2. Updated prices appear in the point of sale after the next sync.
  2. After you save a scheduled retail, upcoming price changes appear on the Retail Price Changes tab for each included item.
  3. You can add a revert date to automatically restore previous prices.
    1. If you don’t set a revert date, prices remain until you change them again.
  4. You can’t edit a scheduled retail after it starts.
    1. If a schedule was created in error, create a new scheduled retail to override it.
  5. You can access the Scheduled Retail editor from these purchasing documents:
    1. Purchase Order
    2. Receipt
    3. Invoice
  6. You can copy scheduled retails using Create New Based On.
  7. The Standard Report > Lists > Scheduled Retail report lists all scheduled retails for a selected time frame.
  8. Use the Scheduled Label Queue to print labels for items in a scheduled retail.
    1. You can use a print template with the 'ItemNextScheduledRetailPrice' data field added to include future prices on labels.


  1. Set up scheduled retail changes at least 24 hours before they take effect.
  2. Create label print templates with future pricing in advance to streamline label printing on the start date
