How To: Schedule Retail Price Changes

  
Scheduled retail price changes let you apply discounts or make bulk retail price adjustments automatically.

You need permission to:

  • View and edit the Retail Scheduled tab in the item editor

  • View and edit Scheduled Retail Changes

Optional:

  • View and edit the Scheduled Label Queue

 
  1. Go to the Scheduled Retail tab.
  2. Select Create New Schedule.
  3. Enter a name for the scheduled change.
  4. Set the Start Date.
  5. Optional: Set a Revert Date to return prices to their previous values.
  6. Select the store or stores the change applies to.
  7. Add items:
    1. Select Add Items to choose items individually, or
    2. Select Add Items From to import items from a session, item list, or Excel file.
  8. Set new retail prices:
    1. Enter prices directly in the highlighted fields, or
    2. Select Change Starting Retail According to a Formula and choose to add or subtract the desired percentage.
      1. The new retail prices calculate automatically.
  9. Select Save & Close.

The scheduled change appears in the Scheduled Retail tab. The new retail prices take effect at the POS on the selected start date.
