Yellow Dog/Agilysys Integration Overview

Yellow Dog/Agilysys Integration Overview

This document will provide an overview of the Yellow Dog Agilysys Spa & Golf integration

Integration Approach

This will be set up as a 2Way – Pulls Sales & Push Items
  1. Sales – Pulled from a .txt file 4x daily
  2. Codes – Pulled from a .txt file
  3. Items – Pushed to a .txt file

Requirements for items to push to Agilysys

  1. Item must be Active = NOT DELETED
  2. Item must have Publish set

  1. Item must be Available
  2. Item must NOT be POS Blocked -POS Blocked, Available, and Publish can all be quickly verified using the Interface Codes as of Last Sync View

  1. Agilysys SG Category must be set

Best Practices for Item Management

  1. Any updates or edits that need to be made to items should be made in Yellow Dog and allowed to push over. Any updates made directly in Agilysys will be overwritten the next time the Yellow Dog sync runs

Limitations

  1. Item discounts are not provided for the line item, so they are divided by the quantity sold.
  2. Terminals must reload to see edits/updates populate for both Spa & Golf

Voids

  1. The original sale record will remain intact, and a secondary VOID record will be created with a negative quantity
