Reporting Explained: All Sales Captured Report
The All Sales Captured report shows sales exactly as they are sent from the point-of-sale (POS) system. Use this report to identify:
-
Items sold in the POS that are not linked to a Yellow Dog item or recipe.
-
Items created directly in the POS.
-
POS menu items not mapped to recipes.
-
Items rung up as open retail.
This report is especially helpful for troubleshooting mapping issues and ensuring your POS data aligns with Yellow Dog.
Standard Reports → Troubleshooting → All Sales Captured
The All Sales Captured report displays sales exactly as Yellow Dog receives them from the POS. This means:
-
If your team uses Re-Assign Sales, the reassigned values do not appear in this report.
-
The report may include lines for items that Yellow Dog does not track—such as services, rentals, or communication-only POS entries (for example, To-Go, medium-rare, or other kitchen instructions).
