Reporting Explained: Inventory On Hand Report
Use the Inventory On Hand report to see how much inventory you have available at a specific date and time.
Standard Reports > Inventory > On Hand > By Item
You can generate the report in multiple formats:
- By Dimension
- By Level
- By Store
- By Style
The report shows the on-hand quantity for each item at the selected date and time.
It also includes additional information such as:
Total cost of items on hand
Total retail value
Current quantity on order
Last received or invoiced cost
Generate the Report
- Go to Reports > Standard Reports.
- Select Inventory > On Hand > By Item.
- Set the Date/Time filter. By default, it is set to Now, but you can choose any date and time.
- Apply additional filters as needed.
- Click Generate.
Additional Filters:
You can filter the report by:
- Stores
- Levels
- Vendors
- Evergreen
- Dimensions
- Combine Stores
- Include or exclude inactive items
- Only show inactive items
- Only show items with negative on-hand
- Include or exclude items with zero on-hand
Column | Description |
Primary Vendor | The vendor marked as the primary vendor when an item has
multiple vendors. |
Total On Hand | The quantity of the item on hand at the selected date and
time. |
Total On Hand Cost | The on-hand quantity multiplied by the calculated item
cost at the selected date and time. |
Total On Hand Retail | The on-hand quantity multiplied by the item’s retail price
at the selected date and time. |
