Feature Overview: Hyperlinks


Hyperlinks in Yellow Dog serve as shortcuts, allowing you to quickly complete related actions without navigating away from your current screen.


Under Item Management > Inventory Item as well as select other areas of Yellow Dog Inventory.

All client types can take advantage of the hyperlinks in Yellow Dog Inventory.

  1. Ease of Access: Hyperlinks let you access and update key details directly, without switching to a separate module.
  2. Variety: There is a wide range of hyperlinks that allow you to complete specific actions. Check out the examples below.

Figure 1. The  "Vendors and Manufacturers..." and "Levels...".  hyperlinks allow you to create, edit, remove, or merge vendors/levels.


Figure 2. The "Choose Columns" hyperlink allows you to customize the columns in your view. Each view offers different column options based on the relevant data, allowing you to tailor your display to your needs.

Figure 3. After generating a report, you'll see the "change columns, sorting and grouping" hyperlink which enables you to fully customize your report, ensuring the data is structured in a way that works best for you.
