Feature Overview: Announcements
You’ll see the announcement screen upon login into Yellow Dog. If you have navigated away, you can access it again by going to Home > Announcements.

Announcements should be reviewed frequently because:
- Increased awareness: Reduce missed updates by viewing alerts as soon as you log in.
- Actionable insights: Some announcements link directly to guides, release notes, or registration pages.
The Announcements section is visible to all users upon login and is important for all client types to review.
The Announcements section under the Home module on the Left-Hand Navigation in Yellow Dog Inventory displays important messages from Yellow Dog Software.
These include:
- Product release notes and feature updates
- Scheduled maintenance notifications
- Tips and reminders for best practices
- Links to training resources or webinars
Announcements are updated regularly to help you stay informed about what’s new and what may affect your day-to-day work.
- Review announcements regularly to stay informed.
- Follow any linked resources to learn more or take action.
- If you manage a team, remind them to check this section during weekly check-ins or training.
