Feature Overview: Mobile Apps

Our suite of mobile apps enable real-time, on-the-go inventory management. Yellow Dog currently offers (3) mobile applications:



YD Mobile is the most comprehensive of the apps and is designed to support day-to-day inventory operations across retail, F&B, and warehouse environments.


  1. Item lookup and UPC scanning/assignment
  2. Request submission
  3. Transfer issuance and acceptance
  4. Purchase Order (PO) receiving and arrival marking
  5. Physical inventory counting using Count Sheets
  6. Invoice scanning via Retriever
  7. Viewing recipes 
  8. Manual on-hand adjustments



Compatibility:
  1. Available on both Android and iOS (via Google Play and App Store)
  2. Requires API and Wi-Fi access.

Count XL is optimized for high-volume inventory scanning and is the go-to tool for fast, barcode-based inventory counting sessions.



  1. Create and manage inventory counting sessions
  2. Offline functionality for standalone sessions
  3. Best for environments like retail stockrooms or wine/liquor inventory in F&B



Compatibility:
  1. Android only — to be used with a supported Yellow Dog Handheld
  2. Requires API and Wi-Fi access but can functions without Wi-Fi or API access using stand-alone mode

Stand Dog is tailored for concessions environments for event-based operations management.


  1. Collect stand inventory count ins and count outs during events
  2. Track inventory moving in and out of individual stands
  3. Record in event restocks
  4. Facilitate stand-to-stand transfers


Compatibility:

  1. Available on Android, iOS, web, and PAX Device
  2. Requires API and Wi-Fi access
