How To: Edit Existing Inventory Items
Whether you need to correct a mistake, update information, or refine details, the editing functionality allows you to make changes efficiently while maintaining data integrity.
Only users with the appropriate permissions can edit items. If you are unable to access editing features, contact your system administrator.
- Review Before Saving: Double-check all updates to avoid errors.
- Maintain Consistency: Follow naming conventions and formatting standards.
- Avoid Unnecessary Edits: Only update fields that require modification.
- Go to Item Management > Inventory Items.
- Click to highlight the item you wish to edit.
- Select Edit Item.
- Updated necessary information then click Save and Close.
