How To: Create Gift Cards for Spa Soft




Correctly configuring gift cards ensures that tax is not applied and that you can enter the intended card value.

Permission to: 
  1. View and Edit Items 
  2. View and Edit Interfaces



  1. Create a new item named Gift Card.
  1. Set the vendor to In-house or your company name.
  1. Assign the item to a Gift Card level.
    1. This level prevents tax from being applied.
    1. If you do not have a Gift Card level, contact support for assistance.
  1. (Optional) Mark the item as a No Count Item.
    1. This prevents negative on-hand quantities and excludes the item from physical inventories.
  1. Save and close the item.
