Feature Overview: Recalculate Costs

The Recalculate Costs button located on the top task bar in Yellow Dog allows users to update costing in the system. This helps ensure that totals reflect current vendor pricing and inventory costs.

Recalculate Costs located on the Top Task Bar (visibility of this button depends on user permissions):



Use the Recalculate Costs button when:

  • After committing a physical inventory and before reviewing reporting
  • If costs appear outdated after recent updates to inventory
The recalculation job will show on the bottom task bar.  Once it clears the process is completed.
