FAQs: Invoice Staging & Stahl-Meyer
Question:
Are there limitations when submitting Stahl-Meyer invoices to retriever?
Answer:
Yes. Stahl-Meyer invoices include two quantity fields: a Quantity column and a Net Weight column. When an invoice contains catch-weight items (items sold by weight rather than by a fixed unit such as a case or box), Retriever cannot determine which quantity value to use.
To ensure Retriever selects the correct value, redact the Quantity column so that only the Net Weight remains. You can:
Black out the Quantity column on paper invoices, or
Use a PDF editor to redact the column on digital invoices.
Alternatively, you can submit the invoice as-is and then correct the quantity values in the invoice staging table after the invoice is imported into Retriever.
