FAQs: Invoice Staging & Halperns

Question:
Are there limitations when submitting Halpern's invoices to retriever? 

Answer:

Yes. Halpern’s invoices include three quantity-related columns—Ordered, Shipped, and Wgt/Qty Shipped. The presence of multiple quantity fields makes it difficult for Retriever to determine which value to use.

To ensure Retriever imports the correct quantity, redact the Ordered and Shipped columns before submitting the invoice. You can:

  • Black out the columns on paper invoices, or

  • Use a PDF editor to redact them on digital copies.

Alternatively, you can submit the invoice without redaction and update the quantities in the staged invoice after submission.
