Yellow Dog/Clover Sport Integration Overview
This document will provide an overview of the Yellow Dog Clover Sport Integration
Sync Approach
This integration is setup as a 1Way – pull sales
- Sales – are provided in a .csv file to an FTP every 15minutes that is consumed by the Yellow Dog API
Requirements for Items to deplete On-hands
- Enter the Yellow Dog SKU or UPC in the SKU field Clover Sport
-OR-
- Map recipes in the POS Item Map module within Yellow Dog
Item Management Best Practices
- Items must be available to the store in Yellow Dog users expect to see on hands deplete from as a result of sales being pulled in.
Limitations
- Yellow Dog is unable to use Tax Data
- Yellow Dog is unable to use Tender data
- All discounts are presented per check from Clover Sport
- Yellow Dog divides the discount among the line items on the check
- Unsold items are not visible in POS Item Map
- Yellow Dog cannot pull in Location IDs when an additional outlet is added. That information must be provided by the client
- Modifiers - Yellow Dog is not provided the needed ID to support matching for modifiers. If modifiers are used the client must enter the description as ALLCAPSNOSPACES in the UPC field of the item.
- A delay in the sales file being sent by Clover Sport will cause a delay in the sales appearing in reporting in Yellow Dog. If you suspect sales were not provided by Clover Sport please contact Yellow Dog Support to assist with verification.
