Troubleshooting: YD Mobile Recipe Images Missing
Recipes and/or recipe images are not displaying in YD Mobile and you have the employee permission to view recipes.
If an image was pasted from a locally stored image on your PC, the image will not generate a URL and be visible in YD Mobile.
Tip: Prevent this issue by uploading the picture rather than pasting.
Step 1: Remove Image(s)
- Open the recipe in Yellow Dog Inventory.
- On the Picture tab of the Recipe Editor click to highlight the image(s) and click Remove Image(s).
- Select Yes Remove Image(s).
Step 2: Upload New Image
- On the Picture tab of the Recipe Editor, click Create New Image(s).
- Type the description of the image in the Label/Description field.
- Click Select.
- Select the image from your computer then click Open.
- Click Save and Close.
*Alternatively, you can use the paste feature to paste an image if the source is from an online resource or take a picture and upload directly in the YD Mobile app.
- If logged into YD mobile, close the application then log back in.
- Go to recipes and search for the recipe.
- Open the recipe and verify the image is displayed.
*You may need to wait 5-10 minutes from the information to update in YD Mobile after making changes.
