How do I run the Item History Report?


The item history report provides users with a comprehensive review of an item's history, making it a valuable tool for troubleshooting any issues concerning on hand values.



 

Item History Report (Last 30 Days) - Inventory Item Screen

To Review the Item History Report for the last 30 days on the Inventory Item screen follo

1.    Go to Item Management/Inventory Items. 

2.    Search for the item and click to highlight. 

3.    Select the “Item History Report” button.


Item History Report – Reporting Module

If you need to run the Item History Report for specific date ranges or apply additional filters, use the Reporting Module with these steps:

1.    Navigate to Reports/Standard Reports
2.    Open the Inventory Folder and locate the Item History Report.
3.    Select the Item History Repot and set filters:

o  Include On Hand Cost: When checked, adds a column for the total on-hand cost.

o  Only Show Adjustments: When checked, the report will only display actions that affected the on-hand quantity of the item.

o  Date Time: Sets the date range for the historical data to be included in the report.

o  Stores: Filters the report based on the selected store/s.

o  SKUs: Enables the selection of one or multiple SKUs for analysis.

4.    Select “Generate” to run the report.



 *The Item History Report can also be generated from within a physical inventory to aid in reviewing variances.
