FAQs: Prep cost $0 in Simphony EMC
Question:
Why are prep costs listed as $0 in EMC for Simphony?
Answer:
Prep costs for items in Simphony Enterprise Management Console (EMC) appear as $0 when the item is configured as a No Count item in Yellow Dog. No Count items do not track cost or on-hand values.
To ensure a cost is tracked for the item and pushed to EMC:
- In Yellow Dog, change the item configuration to Auto Zero.
- This will track a cost for the item.
- The cost will then be pushed to EMC.
