Question:
How can items be configured as 'Taxable' for Shopify?
Answer:
You can configure item tax settings for Shopify in one of two ways, depending on how items are managed between Yellow Dog and the webstore.
Option 1: Push items from Yellow Dog to the webstore
When items are created in Yellow Dog and pushed to the webstore:
Tax settings, descriptions, and retail prices are configured in Yellow Dog.
These fields are synced to the Shopify during the item push.
Manage tax settings on the Web Properties tab of the item editor in Yellow Dog.

Option 2: Create items in the webstore and match them to Yellow Dog
When items are created directly in the webstore and then matched to Yellow Dog:
Choose the option that matches your integration workflow to ensure tax settings are applied correctly.
