Troubleshooting: Why Can’t I uncommit my Physical?

Troubleshooting: Why Can’t I uncommit my Physical?

If you have committed a physical inventory in error and need to make a change or adjustment to the physical, you will need to uncommit that inventory so that you can make that change.  A physical can only be uncommitted within 7 days of being committed, after that time the document is locked.

On the Physical Inventory screen, you will need to highlight the physical that you are working on and select the ‘Uncommit Physical Inventory’ button.

If this button is greyed out and you are not able to select it, either your Yellow Dog user does not have employee permissions to uncommit a physical, or the physical was committed past the 7-day window for uncommitting.  You will need to reach out to your onsite admin for additional permissions.
