Troubleshooting: Re-Assign Sales not depleting recipe ingredients
Re-assign Sales is not applied to recipe ingredients.
Ingredient items are not configured to re-assign sales.
When you use POS Menu Item recipe behavior (or any behavior where sales deplete ingredients), Re-assign Sales must be configured for both the inventory item and its related ingredients. If Re-assign Sales is set only on the inventory item, ingredient sales are not re-assigned.
Reassign Sales is typically configured at the level, but you can also assign it to specific items if needed.
- Go to Common Setup > Levels.
- Double-click the level to open the level editor.
- Select the Interfaces tab.
- Select the store that reassigns sales.
- From Reassign Sales To, select the store that should receive the sales.
- Repeat these steps for each level and store where sales must be reassigned.
Note: Access to the Interfaces tab depends on user permissions.

Contact support if Reassign Sales is configured for both the inventory item and its ingredients, and sales still do not reassign as expected.
