Concessions · Yellow Dog Inventory 2026
WHY IT'S IMPORTANT
The Publish interface setting controls whether an item is sent to the point of sale (POS). For Concessions, an item's Publish value also governs whether the item populates on the stand sheet printout — and the correct value is not the same for every item type.
WHERE
Publish is an interface setting — assignable in the interfaces tab for individual item or a level.
HIGHLIGHTS
Each item type has one correct Publish value for it to populate on the stand sheet printout:
ITEM TYPE | REQUIRED PUBLISH VALUE |
Non-Chargeable | Publish = 0 |
Supply | Publish = 0 |
POS Recipe Item | Publish = 1 |
• The required value is inverted between the two groups — a setting that publishes a Non-Chargeable or Supply item hides a POS Recipe Item, and the reverse is also true.
• If an item is set up correctly but still missing from the printout, check its Publish value first.
Note: Setting every item to the same Publish value will always drop one group. Non-chargeables and supplies publish at 0; POS recipe items publish at 1. |
BEST PRACTICES
Before an event, confirm the Publish value on any newly added non-chargeable, supply, or POS recipe items. Because a mismatch produces no error, this is the only reliable way to catch a missing item before it is needed at the stand.
