Inactive Items in Recipes Affecting COGS in Physical Inventory Reporting

Inactive items in recipes cause COGS
reporting to be incorrect.
WHO IT AFFECTS: F&B users that build recipes to map to point of sales menu items for Actual vs. Theoretical Reporting.
WHY: Inactive items are not included in physicals.
This causes revenue attached to these items to not be included in COGS
reporting.
HOW TO IDENTIFY: Run the advisor report. Object type is Recipe, Category is Inactive Item and Action is Remove.
HOW TO RESOLVE: Remove inactive item from recipe. Replace with active item
if item has been switched with a different ingredient.
WORKFLOW/PREVENTATIVE MEASURE: Always
check the advisor report before physical inventories and resolve issues.
