How To: Update Employee Password
If an employee has not set up Password Recovery, they will be unable to reset their password on their own if it is forgotten. In this case, an Admin user with permission to edit employee accounts must reset the password for them. The Yellow Dog team is not able to assist with password updates.
You must be an admin user with permission to edit employee to complete the following steps.
- Go to System Setup > Employees > Employees.
- Click to highlight the employee then select Edit Employee.
- Enter a new password in the Password and Verify Password fields.
- Click Save and Close.
- Instruct the employee to login, change their password and set up password recovery.
