How To: Install Yellow Dog Inventory on Windows

These instructions outline how to install your Yellow Dog Inventory on a Windows computer.

  1. Client ID 
  2. Username (Employee Number)
  3. Password

    Need this information?
    1. If your project is still in Implementation, please reach out to your Implementation Guide.
    2. If your project has moved to Support, please contact your company’s internal Yellow Dog Administrator.
    3. If you are the Yellow Dog Administrator and need your Client ID to assist with installation on an employee’s workspace, click HERE to learn how to find it.
    4. If you are the Yellow Dog Administrator and do not have access to your Yellow Dog Inventory to identify your Client ID, reach out to Support for assistance at support@yellowdogsoftware.com or757-663-7514.   




    1. Open a web browser and go to balto.yellowdog.software.

    2. Enter your Client ID, then click Submit.

    3. Type in your Username and Password, then select Login.

    4. Click the user icon in the top-right corner and choose Client Install Guide.

    5. Follow the steps provided on the Client Install Guide page to complete the installation.
