375 Windows Installation Instructions


These instructions outline how to install your Yellow Dog Inventory version 375 on a Windows computer.


1. Database Information and Database Login Credentials
 If you do not have this information, please reach out to your Implementation Guide or Support.
 
    Database Information
     - DatabaseName 
     - DatabaseServer
     - DatabaseServerPort
    - Database(SQL)Username 

    Database Login Credentials
     -Employee Number
     -Password
 
2. Administrator Rights
You will need administrator rights on your computer to install Yellow Dog Inventory. If you do not have Administrator Rights, please contact the owner of the PC or your IT department for assistance. To check if you have Administrator Rights on Windows 11 complete the following:

Step 1: Press Windows + I to open Settings.
Step 2: Click the User profile image or click Accounts from the left menu.
Step 3: Verify that Administrator is listed next to your account photo.


3.  Minimum System Requirements
Verify your computer meets the minimum system requirements found here.  

4. MSI Installer
Download the MSI installer here when referenced in the video walkthrough.
