Par Levels and Reorder Points in Yellow Dog Inventory are essential for maintaining optimal stock levels. They help prevent stockouts, avoid overstocking, and allow your team to make more informed purchasing decisions.
Setting Par Levels and Reorder Points is recommended for all client types (Food and Beverage, Retail and Concessions).
On the left-hand menu navigate to Item Management > Inventory Items.
Highlight the inventory item and select Edit Item on the right-hand side.
Click the Stores tab. For concessions clients, the Stores tab will be renamed and display as the Stands tab.
Enter the Reorder point for the item in the Reorder Point column.
Enter the Par Level for the item in thePar Inventory Level column.

Don’t see the Reorder Point or the Par Inventory Level columns? Use the Choose Column hyperlink to add these columns.
Entering Par Levels and Reorder Points on multiple items? Use the navigation arrows at the bottom of the Item Editor. They let you save your changes and move to the next item in one step.
Are you a Retail client creating a new item? The Par Level and Reorder Point can be entered on the Retail Details tab when creating an item. Once the item is saved though, these values can only be updated on the Stores tab.
