How To: Set Par Levels and Reorder Points

Par Levels and Reorder Points in Yellow Dog Inventory are essential for maintaining optimal stock levels. They help prevent stockouts, avoid overstocking, and allow your team to make more informed purchasing decisions.

Setting Par Levels and Reorder Points is recommended for all client types (Food and Beverage, Retail and  Concessions).

  1. On the left-hand menu navigate to Item Management > Inventory Items.

  2. Highlight the inventory item and select Edit Item on the right-hand side.

  3. Click the Stores tab.
For concessions clients, the Stores tab will be renamed and display as the Stands tab.

  4. Enter the Reorder point for the item in the Reorder Point column.

  5. Enter the Par Level for the item in the Par Inventory Level column.
