REPORTING MANUAL Saved Reports for F&B Operations

Introduction to Saved Reports
We’ve
streamlined reporting for Food & Beverage operations by pre-saving
essential reports. To find them, select Reports
in the left navigation, then Saved Reports.
This manual gives an overview of each saved report, with its purpose, date
range, and frequency, plus a screenshot of the report options, the applied
columns, and the report name and path.
The path (for
example, Troubleshooting \ Advisor)
shows how to run the report from Reports >
Standard Reports. If your Yellow Dog Inventory version predates the
release that includes these pre-saved reports, follow the report path to run
and then save the report.
Running Saved Reports
To run a
report, highlight it and select Execute Saved
Report. Each report has a unique number, a three-character category
code, and a name. Enter a report number in the search bar to find it quickly.
Modifying Reports
To adjust
parameters before running a report, use the filters on the right side of the
screen. After running a report, select the change,
grouping and sorting link at the top right to open the Report
Columns dialog, where you can change sorting and add or remove columns.
Saving Modified Reports
To keep your
changes, select Save Report Template
at the bottom right of the report. You can overwrite the existing report or
save a new one. When saving a new version, reuse the same title and append a
letter to the report number (for example, 202a –
ALR – Check Negative On-Hand). This groups related reports together
and keeps them easy to find.
All the reports
with the abbreviation ALR (Alerts) are the reports to run to check for system
issues. We recommend you run these reports at least once per week to allow time
for investigation and correction.
Purpose: The
report shows actions that should be addressed.
