Quick Reference: Request Notifications




Configure email addresses in the Store Editor so users receive notifications when a request is committed. Correct setup ensures the appropriate staff are notified promptly.

Adding email recipients in the Store Editor.

  1. Open Stores.

  2. Select the store.

  3. Enter email addresses in Email Addresses for Requests.

Separate multiple addresses with a semicolon (;) and do not include spaces.

Example: manager@company.com;purchasing@company.com;inventory@company.com

How the system uses these email addresses

Yellow Dog Client (Fat Client)

When printing a committed request:

  1. Commit the request.

  2. Select Print.

  3. In the print window, select the Email checkbox in the bottom-right corner.

This action sends the request by email using the addresses configured in the Store Editor.

Yellow Dog Mobile

When a user commits a request in Yellow Dog Mobile, the system automatically sends an email to:

  • All addresses listed in Email Addresses for Requests in the Store Editor

  • The original requester, if their email is configured in the Employee Editor

No manual email selection is required.
