FAQs: When will costs update after committing a Physical?

FAQs: When will costs update after committing a Physical?

Question:
When do on hands and costs update after a Physical has been committed?

Answer:

On-hand values update almost immediately after a Physical Inventory is committed.

Costs update automatically during the overnight maintenance process. If you need updated calculated costs sooner, you can use the Recalculate Costs feature in Yellow Dog.

Use this feature with care—especially if you have a large dataset—as system performance may slow while costs are recalculated in the background. The system will notify you when the process is complete. During the calculation, the option displays as Calculating Costs, and changes back to Recalculate Costs when finished.
