1. Batch Items are used solely for counting in the physical process. Counting the “batch item” will automatically count the ingredient items from the item’s recipe.  
2. You will need a vendor to assign to batch recipes (ex. In-House)
   
3. All ingredient items need to be marked as ingredients on the F&B Details tab of the Item Editor with Volume/Weight assigned.
   
4. Only the on-hand size of the ingredient item will be used in recipes.
   
5. The recipe connected to the batch item must produce and match the on-hand size of the batch item.
