Tips & Tricks : How to remove items from the Point of Sale

Issue: I need to remove items from the Point of Sale, but I want to make sure I don’t negatively impact the integration between Yellow Dog and the point of sale.

Tip: Turn publish off! Yellow Dog integrates with many points of sale, but this one step will ensure you have smoothest time regardless of the point of Sale you are using. If you are using a Web Cart, then you will want to uncheck the Send to Web site box, in the Web Properties tab. Once Publish/Send to web have been disabled you should be safe to move forward with removing your item(s). If you have specific questions about your point of sale, please reach out to your implementation guide, or support.

Trick: Publish and Send to Web are right-click functions and many items can have this setting updated at once if for instance you are updating Seasonal Items.

Publish – Located on the Interfaces Tab

Send to Web Site - Located on the Web Properties Tab
