Quick Reference: Removing Items from the Point of Sale

If you use a two-way integration (items are pushed to the point of sale and sales are pulled into Yellow Dog), removing items incorrectly can cause point-of-sale errors. These errors can prevent other items from pushing or updating.

  1. Before removing an item from the point of sale, disable Publish.
    1. If the point of sale is a webstore uncheck Send to Web.
  2. You can enable or disable these settings in the item editor or by using the right-click menu in:
  3. Interface Codes view (Publish)
  4. Web Items view (Send to Web)
  5. After Publish and Send to Web are disabled, you can safely remove the item from the point of sale
