Figure 1. The PAR Worksheet

Sellthrough %
The percentage of the total inventory you sold during a certain period of time. In simple terms, it tells you how much of what you had available actually got sold.
Formula: Sell-through % = (Units Sold ÷ Units Available) × 100

PAR
It’s the right amount you aim to keep in stock so you don’t run out or have too much.

Reorder Point
Indicates how low inventory levels can go before you should reorder/restock.

Max Capacity
The maximum quantity a stand/store can hold.

Editing Behavior
  1. When you change the PAR, the system automatically updates the Reorder Point.
  2. Editing the Reorder Point alone does not change PAR.

Create Separate "Template" PAR Worksheets for Special Events

For example:

  • Start of season
  • Mid-season adjustments
  • Holiday periods
  • Hot weather periods

Save these worksheets as templates for reuse.

Align PAR & Reorder Point

Since PAR updates reorder points automatically:

  • Keep reorder point = PAR for simple restocking behavior.

Include Restocking Size Only (Concessions)

Why? This is the size that you transfer items in to stands.
