The YDMobile app allows users to generate inventory sessions based on existing Count Sheets. This feature is primarily used by Food & Beverage clients.

Before you begin, make sure you have:

  • The latest version of YDMobile installed.

  • Count Sheets created in Yellow Dog

  1. Open YDMobile and sign in using your Yellow Dog Client ID, Username and Password.
  2. Select the Store for which you want to create a session.
  3. Tap Count Sheets.
  4. Tap the + icon in the upper-right corner.
  5. Enter a description for the session and select a Count Sheet from the dropdown list.
  6. Begin entering counts.
    1. The progress bar updates as you move toward completion.
    2. You can see how many items you’ve counted, how many remain, and how many have been set to 0.
    3. Tip: Tap Save in the bottom-right corner regularly to save your progress.
  7. When all counts are complete, slide Finalize to send the session and counts to Yellow Dog. This also removes the session from your device.
  8. Log in to Yellow Dog to verify that the session appears.

Tips:
  • Use the Search bar to quickly find specific items.

  • Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to access additional menu options, including Item Lookup and Scanner tools.

    • These tools let you add items to your session, but they do not update the Count Sheet in Yellow Dog.

    • To permanently add items to a Count Sheet, edit the Count Sheet directly in Yellow Dog.
