We’ve also made improvements to the Scheduled Retail module (formerly Schedule Retail Changes).
The new SKUs column in the Scheduled Retail list displays the number of SKUs being affected by the schedule.
Scheduled Retail Changes can now be copied for quicker setup. Use the Create New Schedule Based On button in the Schedule Retail list, which will copy the same items, starting and ending retail, and description. From there, change the description, add or remove items, and change prices as desired before saving and closing.
Within the editor, the changes are similar to those in the Item Editor’s Retail Price Changes tab:
Previously to 367, Yellow Dog Inventory did not offer the feature to copy an existing scheduled retail change. Below you will find a work around for versions prior to 367 and a few other helpful tips.
Scenario:
I markdown 100 items by 10%.
Two weeks later, I want to mark down any of the remaining items by 20%
Four weeks later, I want to mark down any of the remaining items by 30%.
Six weeks later, I want to mark down any of the remaining item by 40% and keep them at that price until they sell out.
The workaround is to make changes to the same schedule as you go along.
There are limitations to this, though:
With the other enhancements we’ve been making to Scheduled Retail, we’ve also added the ability to open the Scheduled Retail editor from within a PO, Receipt, or Invoice. Use the Schedule Price Change button in those document editors to launch the editor, then select items and create a new Scheduled Retail.
In v368, we created the new Lists \ Scheduled Retail report to show all items with retail changes scheduled to start within the selected date range in the selected store. Note that this report can be filtered to hide items with zero on hand.
