Quick Reference: Contract Price with Tolerance Deviation

 
Setting Contract Prices and deviation thresholds helps control vendor pricing and quickly identify unexpected cost changes, ensuring accurate purchasing and reporting.

 
  1. Contract Price – Set in the Item Editor > Vendor Products tab to define expected vendor pricing
  2. Deviation Percentage – Configure acceptable positive and negative thresholds for price variance
  3. Price Change Monitoring – Use Standard Reports > Purchasing > Price Changes from Contract Price to identify items exceeding thresholds
  4. Required Setup – Contract Price and thresholds must be set for data to appear in report columns
  5. Permissions – The ability to see and edit Contract Prices must be enabled
