What is Auto Transfer and how do I configure it?

Auto-Transfer give users the ability to have on hands pull from a primary location to a secondary satellite location. An example use case for this would be a primary location that may also have supplemental kiosk locations. When this feature is enabled and the satellite location sales product throughout the day on hands will appear in the negative. Overnight when our maintenance application runs, a transfer will be created in the background that will transfer the amount sold from the primary location to the satellite location to bring the on hand back up to 0. Auto-Transfer can be set for an entire store, level, or for individual items.

As a note- This feature is typically configured during the implementation process and only the Yellow Dog System User can set or make updates to the configuration. This is to ensure that users have it configured correctly and are aware of the ramifications of using this feature because enabling it makes such a significant database change.
