Tips & Tricks: What do I do when I receive an Access to Path is Denied Error?

Error Message: 

Access to the path is denied.

 

Most commonly come across when syncing the PA520 handheld or opening Yellow Dog for the first time post upgrade.



 

Description: Windows log in does not have proper access to make changes to the Yellow Dog folder.

Resolution

  • User must run the program as administrator. 
  • User must contact their IT department to allow this user to make changes to the fold
