Tips & Tricks: How do I resolve Waiting for Other Process when syncing my handheld?

Issue: Sync with handheld or Sync with Count Apps is stuck Waiting for Other Process, and I can’t run my sync. 

Trick: Disable the queue for that application, so your sync doesn’t have to wait in line! 

Tip: Your IT will most likely have to assist you setting this up. 




  1. Navigate to your Yellow Dog folder, which most likely be on your C Drive your Programs Files (x86).




  1. Double Click to open the Yellow Dog folder and navigate to the Settings.ini file> Right Click> select Properties and un-check Read-Only and select OK

                      
3.  Double Click to open the Settings File>Navigate to the section titled SyncYdiWithHandheld or SyncYdiWithCountApps>Navigate to EnableQueue=True and change to False.  Control S to Save.
