Item Management Best Practices
If items are being pushed to Shopify from Yellow Dog and the SKU/UPC needs to be assigned to a different item, the change should be made in Yellow Dog and allowed to push to Shopify. NOTE: Assigning the SKU/UPC to a different item in Shopify directly will break the relationship between the item in Shopify and the item in Yellow Dog and cause the incorrect item on hand to be updated.
If only on hands are being updated the user will need to remove the incorrect item from Shopify and recreate it.
Limitations
There is a 20-megapixel limit for images
The Yellow Dog side of the integration has no control over ‘smart collections’
Returns only replenish on hands if the Shopify return was selected to “restock”
All matrix items must have been created in the matrix originally, the integration does not support items that have been added a matrix after the fact.
