How do I schedule daily email reporting?
You can configure saved reports to be automatically emailed to you and/or team members on a set schedule by going to Reports/Send Saved Reports.
Note: A report must be saved before it can be emailed. Once saved, it will appear in the "Send Saved Report Emailing" section, where you can configure it for emailing.
Configuring your Reports
Reports can be sent daily, weekly, monthly, yearly: Best practice is to set up saved reports that are generated for a time period vs a specific date or date range.
- If a report is being sent to more than one email, the emails need to be semi-colon or comma separated.
- Send Schedule: Will be the day of the week or month and time that the report gets generated (but not sent)
- Report Format: Allows you to have the report sent to you either embedded in your email or attached as a CSV, Excel, or PDF
Scheduling Send Saved Reports
After navigating to Reports/Send Saved Reports you will see a listing of all saved reports.
To schedule a report to automatically email:
- Click to highlight the report and select “Edit Send Saved Report”.
- Enter the email address in the “Recipient Email Addresses” field. Separate multiple email addresses with a semicolon or comma “ ; “ or " , ".
- Select the day(s) of the week that the report will be emailed.
- Select the time of day that the report will be generated. Reports will be generated at this time and emailed on a predetermined time decided on during implementation.
