How it Works: An Inventory>Adjustments>Manual by Store and Item and Accounting report shows a summary of manual adjustments that were made to inventory items for a selected period of time summarized by the Store, the item, and the Accounting Code selected for the adjustment. This report can be filtered by store, levels, or vendors a well.
Generating the Report:
Go to the Standard Reports section in Yellow Dog:
- Select Standard Reports
- Open the folder titled ‘Inventory’
- Open the folder titled ‘Adjustments’
- Select ‘Manual by Store and Item and Accounting’
- Select the date range that you would like to run the report for and choose any filters that you would like to add
- Generate report
Reading the Report:
- Shows the filters used to produce the report’s data, including the date selected for the report.
- Change columns, sorting, and grouping: This allows users to add or remove data columns to this report as well as organize and group the data.
- Store Name: Shows the store that the adjustments were made in.
- COGS: Shows the COGS account for the items if a COGS account is set. If the field appears blank, no COGS account has been set for this item.
- Level: Shows the level assigned to the adjusted item.
- Vendor: Shows the vendor assigned to the adjusted item.
- SKU: Shows the SKU number of the adjusted item.
- Item: Shows the item adjusted.
- First Date/Time: Shows first date and time items were adjusted during the time period reflected in the report.
- Quantity Adjusted: Shows the total quantity that was adjusted for the item during the time period reflected in the report and the accounting code selected for the adjustment.
- Total Calculated Cost Adjusted: Shows the total calculated cost adjusted for the items during the time period reflected in the report.
- Accounting: Shows the accounting code selected for the item adjusted.
- Affects COGS: Shows if the manual adjustments were set to affect COGS when the manual adjustments were created.
- This row allows you to save, export, print, or close the current report.
