New Feature! Minimum Order Qty & Order Qty Multiple
As an enhancement to item management and purchasing as
introduced the ability to assign order quantity minimums, and order quantity
multipliers.
The Minimum Order Qty & Order Qty Multiple
are assigned in the Vendors tab of the item editor
ยท
- The Minimum Order Qty should be the minimum
quantity of an item that can ordered at a time i.e., a wine vendor may require that
at least 12 bottles must be ordered.
- Order Qty Multiple should be the multiplier the order amount can increase by i.e.,
the same wine vendor may require that once the minimum of 12 has been satisfied
the order can only be increased by 6 bottles at a time
- With this configuration if someone were to add 15 bottles to a PO the system
would the quantity up to 18 to satisfy the Order Qty Multiple that has been
assigned
To utilize this feature users will create Purchase Orders as they
normally would however, if the Order Qty Minimum or Order Qty Multiple are not
satisfied a notification will popup when committing, notifying the user
Users can manually adjust the quantities listed in the PO, or they can
select the Fix Quantity Order option on the right side of the PO to have the
system update the quantities. A popup will display what the new quantities will
be prior to making the change
Once the quantities are corrected users will be able to commit the PO as
they normally would
