Mobile App Overview



This document will review the functionality of Yellow Dogs mobile apps. All mobile apps require Yellow Dog v362 or higher. 


Count XL


Purpose: Scanning & Counting. This app’s sole purpose is to scan and count items quickly and efficiently.  This is our recommended app for all clients scanning items to take their inventory. 

API/Wi-Fi AccessThis application can be used by customers with or without access to the Yellow Dog API or Wi-Fi 

Number of Sessions: Unlike many of our other apps this application only allows one session at a time to be saved. 


 YDMobile


PurposeThis application serves as Yellow Dog on the Go, and allows users to issue, and accept transfers, perform manual adjustments review recipes, mark PO as arrived, and create sessions based on Count Sheets. 

API/Wi-Fi AccessAccess to the API & Wi-Fi are required to use this application, because it sends on hand updates to your Database in real time. 

Number of Sessions: This application allows as many sessions as needed to be saved. 


 Stand Dog


Purpose: This application is to perform Count Ins, Count Outs, Stand Transfers, and Request Restock in conjunction with the Stand Sheets module for our stadium clientsClick Here for more information on the Stand Sheets.  

API/Wi-Fi AccessAccess to the API & Wi-Fi are required to use this application, because it sends on hand updates to your Database in real time.

Number of Sessions: This application is unlike any of our other applications, and is not intended to create sessions, but to be used with the Stand Sheets module.
