Tips & Tricks: Printer configuration for Jewelry Labels.

Issue: I am trying to print Jewelry labels, but they are not printing correctly, or at all.

Resolution: Update printer configuration to accommodate the unique shape of the labels.

*Some organizations have more security restrictions than others, and IT or Admin permissions may be needed to perform this task*

  1. Navigate to Control Panel on your PC and select Devices and Printers.

  1. Right Click on your label printer and select Printing Preferences

  1. Select Options and enter the height & length of the labels. For Zebra Jewelry labels purchased from Yellow Dog the dimensions are 2.20x.50, select Apply

  1. Select Advanced Setup and under Tracking Mode select Mark Sensing and select Apply.

  1. Select Tools -under command type confirm Action is selected, under command name select Calibrate Media and select Send

*Your printer is now configured to print Jewelry labels. When you are ready to print on your non jewelry labels again, you will need to repeat these steps, and in step 4 rather than Mark Sensing you will select Web Sensing. *
