WHY IT'S IMPORTANT
There are several filter options available on the Item Management > Inventory Items screen that help you narrow your item search.

HIGHLIGHTS
• Views: Views in Yellow Dog Inventory provide unique perspectives on your inventory items, helping you find the right information and make informed decisions.
• Delay Data Fetch until a Search String is Entered: Check this box to prevent data from being displayed until search criteria is entered. This feature reduces wait times by loading data only upon search initiation.
|
Note: This setting carries over to Item Lookup screens. When you select Add Items anywhere in the software, the Item Lookup screen that opens keeps Delay Data Fetch enabled if it's turned on here. |
• Store: Choose from the dropdown to view inventory for a specific store.
|
Note: Without a specific store selected, the system displays combined on-hand quantities for all stores in the database. |
• Vendor or Manufacturer: Narrows down items by a specific vendor or manufacturer.
• Levels: Filters items belonging to specific level(s). Hold Ctrl and click to select multiple levels.
• Search: Type your search criteria for immediate results. The search box supports “and/or” searches to include multiple terms. Use a pipe ( | ) to look up exact matches.
• Other: Options to hide specific item types:
• Hide Parent Items – Displays only child items. If an item doesn't have a child item, the parent item displays instead.
• Hide Child Items – Shows only parent items. Retail typically doesn't use a parent/child setup.
• Hide No Count Items – Removes items configured as No Count Items from the inventory list.
• Show only Purchasing Sizes – Displays only items marked as purchasable.
• Show only Transfer Sizes – Displays only items set as transferable.
