Inventory Items Screen Filters

There are several filter options available to you on the Inventory Items screen that will narrow your item search.

Delay Data Fetch until a Search String is Entered: Check this box to prevent data from being displayed until search criteria is entered. This feature reduces wait times by loading data only upon search initiation.
Store: Choose from the dropdown box to view inventory for a specific store.
Note: Without a specific store being selected, the system will display combined on-hand quantities for all stores in the database.
Vendor or Manufacturer: Narrow down items by a specific vendor or manufacturer.
Levels: Filters items belonging to a specific level(s). Hold CTRL to click and select multiple levels.
Other: Options to hide specific item types:

Hide Parent Items – Displays only child items. If an item does not have a child item, the parent item will be displayed.
Hide Child Items – Shows only parent items. Retail typically does not use parent\child setup.
Hide No Count Items – Removes any items configured as No Count Items from the inventory list.
Show only Purchasing Sizes – Only displays items marked as purchasable.
Show only Transfer Sizes – Only shows items set as transferable.
Include Inactive\Removed: Adds removed or inactive items to the inventory item list. Removed and inactive items are clearly marked as (Removed) or (Inactive) in the item description for easy identification.
Search: Type in your search criteria for immediate results. The search box supports “and/or” searches to include multiple terms. You can also use a pipe "|" to look up exact matches.
