This video will demonstrate how to use Aging Reports & Evergreen Status

What Are Evergreen Items and How Do I Use Them in Aging Reports?

Evergreen items are items in in Yellow Dog that do not age.  You may want to set an item to Evergreen status so that you can flag it to be included or excluded on Aging reports in Yellow Dog.  You can set an item’s Evergreen status on the Other Details tab of the item editor.

What Are Aging Reports and How Do Evergreen Items Appear There?

Aging Reports are useful to show you what the age of your items in stock are, and how long you have had them on hand.  When you create an Aging Report, you can view how long your items have been in stock by periods of time.  You can generate an aging report at any time in the Standard Reports section of Yellow Dog.

As shown below, this report will show you the quantity on hand for your items over the course of time, breaking it down by days showing you for example what you had on hand for an item 0-29 days, 30-59 days, and so on.

If you would like to exclude your evergreen items, or include ONLY your Evergreen items, you can choose to filter your Evergreen status when generating your report as pictured below:
