The time that reports are emailed is determined by your organization, however a member of the Yellow Dog team must complete that portion of the configuration on your behalf. Please CLICK HERE to request access to the application and confirm the times that you would like to receive emailed reports.
All saved reports in the system will be listed here.
The three black dots will allow you to schedule the time the report generates and input recipient Emails
Server Information for the mail server **If these boxes appear empty please contact Yellow Dog Support**
Test Email: This will allow you to send yourself a test email to verify that you are able to receive emails from our server.
Configuring your Reports
Reports can be sent daily, weekly, monthly, yearly: Best practice is to set-up saved reports that are generated for a time period vs a specific date or date range.
If a report is being sent to more than one email, the emails need to be Semi-Colon separated.
Send Schedule: Will be the day of the week or month and time that the report gets generated (but not sent)
Report Format: Allows you to have the report sent to you either embedded in your email or attached as a CSV, Excel, or PDF
Additional things to keep in mind:
If you have questions about when your sync runs, check Standard reports>System>Log>Scheduled Apps
If you only receive sales from your POS once a day, you will want to ensure sales reports are scheduled to generate after Yellow Dog receives and processes those sales files.
