Installing a network card lets your Basic Zebra Printer connect directly to your network instead of a single workstation, so it can print from anywhere your network reaches. It's a quick hardware swap you can complete in just a few minutes.

 PREREQUISITES

•     A Basic Zebra Printer

•     A network card. If you acquire the network card from Yellow Dog, it comes with an updated back plate that fits around the network cable.

 STEP BY STEP

Install the Network Card

1.   Remove the back plate from the printer.

2.   Insert the network card into the slot. You'll feel a click when it's pushed all the way into place.

3.   Insert the updated back plate.

4.   Connect your printer to your network.
