Q: How do I create a Desktop Shortcut for Yellow Dog?

 A: If your desktop shortcut was accidently deleted, you can add it back by following these steps:

  1. Locate the YDInv.exe file

    • Open the Start menu.

    • Type YDInv.exe into the search bar.

    • Right-click YDInv.exe in the results and select Open file location.

  2. Create a shortcut

    • In the folder that opens, right-click YDInv.exe.

    • Select Create shortcut from the menu.

    • A new file named YDInv.exe – Shortcut appears in the same folder.

  3. Move the shortcut to your desktop

    • Drag YDInv.exe – Shortcut to your desktop.
