How do I add existing items to a Matrix?
1. Make sure the items are in the system, check the dimensions that need to be set up (Size, Color)
2. Navigate to Matrices tab and choose to create new matrix
3. This will open the matrix editor
4. Name matrix accordingly
5. Set vendor and level
6. If you want to control the items individually you will un-check the “Update Default Vendor Price & Default Retail” check box
7. If you want to control retail and cost from the matrix, leave it checked but make sure to set cost
and retail appropriately.
8. Now you will select the appropriate dimensions for the items in the matrix, click the “Select
Dimensions” button on the right side of the editor. Check the boxes for the dimensions that
apply to the items (you can choose only size if it does not require color)
9. Once you have selected your dimensions, click OK and you will then be presented with a
dialogue box asking if you want to create the items. You will click “NO Do not Create”
10. This will set up the matrix with blank items that give you the option to tie existing items to the
matrix
11. You will now click on the three dots in the blank line (Pay attention to the dimensions for that
item, you will want to select the corresponding item). You will choose the option “Select from
Existing”
12. This will take you into the item selection screen
13. Search the item needed
14. Check the selection box on the right side of the screen
15. Choose “Select” at the bottom right of the screen
